GETTING BACK TO THE POINT......

Getting to know Ukraine was an experience of a life time. So what makes me swoon about this wonderful country ?

 

Well let's see,

First, the climate is amazing...you really get to appreciate the sight of real Europe once you get down from the flight at the airport and take in the surroundings. The temperature remains moderate most of the time of the year and contrary to the popular belief IT IS NOT ALWAYS COLD !! jeez !! In summer the temperature remains in the high 20s (20'C - 28'C) and in winter (anywhere between +10'C to -5'C )... and in the apartments or hostels there is 24 hours central heating, which keeps the temperature always comfortable.

The people.. mmm.. they are a bunch of sweethearts. They warm up to you the moment you smile at them. If you need help, all you have to do is ask !!! and Don't worry )) they speak ENGLISH !! They are ready to help, so don't be scared and ask away !!! 

  I have so many friends here that I have stopped counting and each and every one of them makes me feel special, loved and appreciated. People here are very accommodating and communicative, so you will have new friends to hang out with in no time :)

 

 

There are amazing places to see here.. take the metro, get down at a random place and rediscover the city. You will be pleasantly surprised at every stop. There is something or the other, something new just waiting to be seen )))) 

 

 

FOOOOD !!! YUMM !!! 

 

it's not very different than India, you will get everything you eat in your own home country !!!! Right down to Basmati Rice and Ghee !!!

 

You shall get all the spices you need at the local supermarkets and more. !!! If you are a non-vegetarian , you will have a wide variety of meat products to choose from, or else if you are a vegetarian, you shall find everything you need, the veggies and the soy at the local supermarket. If you want some organic experience, hop down to the local bazaar and pick the freshest fruits and vegetables from the smiling Babushkas, at a fair price.

The public transportation is EXCELLENT !!! We have Metro, Buses, Trams, Taxis, Trolley Buses, Trains and Flights !!!! Everything form of transportation you expect from a modern European Country is available here..

  Well this is all I can think for now... I AM EXPECTING QUESTIONS FOLKS !!! THEY WON'T ASK THEMSELVES !! YOU NEED TO ASK !!!
